Longford Women’s Link Ltd.,(LWL), are launching their on-line ‘Buy a Brick’ fundraising campaign in order to raise funds to furnish, landscape and equip their new 154sqm storey and a half Community Education and Training facility in Longford. The new facility, constructed by local builders Mulleady Properties Ltd., has been possible due a successful funding application for just under €200k from the Rural Development Programme (RDP) which covers building works only.
The ‘Buy a Brick’ initiative invites people to invest in the new Community Education and Training facility by nominating sums from €5 to €50 in order to purchase a brick. By logging onto www.longfordwomenlink.org/fundraising, the investor can nominate the amount, input their name and the Wall will then be uploaded onto the website thereby acknowledging the investment received.
All you have to do is i) select the value of the brick you would like to purchase, ii) enter the name you want displayed on the block and iii) click on the Buy Now button where your transaction will take place on PayPal.
