Nine Councillors who attended our recent Manifesto meeting in May are putting a motion forward on behalf of the Manifesto Group at the County Council meeting this afternoon (June 16th 2010), starting at 4pm at the Council Offices on Water Street.

The nine Councillors forwarding the motion are:

Peggy Nolan, Alan Mitchell, Paddy Belton, Gerry Brady, Michael Carrigy, Victor Kiernan,

Padraig Loughran, Martin Mulleady and Mae Sexton

 

Notice of Motion submitted by the following Councillors:                        

• That the Longford Women's Manifesto Group gain representation onto the Strategic Policy Committees.

• That the Manifesto Group be placed on Council mailing list for all consultation processes.

• That the Manifesto Group be informed of dates of all Area meetings.
