LWL has been shortlisted in the national Better Together! camoaign. The Better Together! campaign aims to show you how you can make a difference by getting involved in community and voluntary activity.

LWL entered a two minute video highlighting how the local community can get invloved for the benefit of all. The  public was then encouraged to vote for their favourite video. Competition was fierce! Between 13 October and 15 November, 210 videos were submitted, 55,580 visits were recorded and 384,888 pages were viewed on the Better Together! website.

The 10 most popular videos were shortlisted across three categories. LWL is in the third category. To view the shortlisted videos click on the following link http://www.bettertogether.ie/shortlists.

Better Together is an initiative of The Wheel, a national support and representative body for community, voluntary and charitable organisations. The campaign is sponsored by the EBS and is supported by Intel, Today FM and The Irish Examiner.

The winners will be announced on November 25th.
